The Imperial Hotel, Osaka will celebrate its 30th anniversary Oct. 1, 2025 – March 31, 2027 with a variety of special events, accommodation plans and dining experiences. 

The Imperial Hotel, Osaka—which opened in March 1996 in Osaka’s Tenma district—carries on the history, tradition and spirit of hospitality of The Imperial Hotel, which first opened in Tokyo’s Hibiya in 1890.

The surrounding area features the Kema-Sakuranomiya Park with its cherry blossom-lined paths along the Okawa River—one of Osaka’s iconic waterways flowing through the city center—and the Osaka Mint Bureau, renowned for its cherry blossom tunnel. 

In spring, guests can enjoy cherry blossoms in full bloom while in summer, they can experience the Tenjin Festival fireworks at Osaka Tenmangu Shrine—one of Japan’s three major festivals—and the boat processions on the Okawa River. 

Despite its location in the heart of Osaka, the hotel has been cherished by many as a place where guests can experience the natural beauty of the four seasons.

  • The Grand Stay Experience features special privileges and celebratory touches designed to make this milestone occasion truly memorable such as the Guest Suite (178 m²) rate of ¥1 million for two guests per night (includes dinner & breakfast, service charge, consumption tax and accommodation tax), welcome drink, petits fours and fine French cuisine with drink pairing. There is also room-service breakfast with butler service, in-room spa treatment at Salon Imperial Esthetic Bali and limousine transfers (within Osaka city). 
  • The Suite Selection offers 60-100 m² rooms for ¥300,000 per two guests (three nights with breakfast and dinner included, plus service charge, consumption tax and accommodation tax.)

  • Chef’s Hospitality Omotenashi Plan is a tailor-made experience featuring a one-day-only course menu crafted with carefully selected ingredients to match your preferences. It includes beverages and a private dining room on upper Les Saisons (Fine French Cuisine, 23rd floor), Jasmine Garden (Chinese Cuisine, 23rd floor) Teppanyaki Kamon (Open Grill Specialties, 24th floor); ¥300,000 yen for two guests (includes cuisine, beverages, room fee, service charge and consumption tax)
