Centrally located, the hotel will be within walking distance to Hondori and Kamiyacho, the city’s main commercial and business districts, which feature upscale retailers, office towers and government offices. Several tram stations are within walking distance, including the Hiroshima Station, which directly connects travelers to other major cities like Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, and Okayama. The hotel is also expected to feature an all-day dining restaurant with a semi-open kitchen, perfect for relaxing over cocktails after a day of work or exploration. Additionally, guests can maintain their fitness routine at the planned on-site Fitness Centre.

“We are delighted to sign this agreement with Marriott International to open Courtyard by Marriott Hiroshima,” said Seth Sulkin, CEO, Hiroshima Hospitality G.K., parent company Pacifica Hotels G.K., and affiliate Pacifica Capital K.K., which will be handling project management of this development. “We look forward to welcoming business and leisure travelers to Hiroshima, and offer them convenience and collaborative spaces to relax, work and connect when they visit this city.”
